A Professional Organizer assists and informs potential clients with tools to organizing others to meet their needs. A professional organizer will also use their skills to help clients maintain their environment by Teaching effective ways to become better organized and remain clutter-free.
Why would you hire a professional organizer?
A professional organizer‘s main goal for their clients is to maintain an orderly and stable environment. Organizing is a way to provide better organizational skills in your home or office. They provide you with the tools you need and advise you on how to achieve an organized environment.
Will I have to get rid of all my stuff?
Absolutely not! These services will not throw anything out unless you want it disposed. They will make observations or suggestions on deciding what is important or what could be discarded. It is your final decision on what gets removed.
Who does this work?
Whether you decide to work alongside your professional organizer or you just need direction to properly organize your home or office, is strictly up to you and how it fits into your budget.
I am embarrassed about my clutter. Will my sessions be kept confidential?
A NAPO professional respects the privacy of their clients and is aware of the trust the clients place with them.
How does the process start?
First, a phone consultation
We'll have a short conversation on the phone about the challenges you experience in your environment. Also, we will try to accomplish what your specific needs are and what is important to you. Before an in-home visit, we will try to establish a specific payment plan to meet your needs.
Then, an in-home appointment
The first appointment will either be an assessment of your specific needs or hands on session, depending on what your needs are. We will then work out a schedule that meets your needs.
How long will it take to get organized?
Each organizing project is different; therefore, I can not set a time limit on projects. The length of a project depends primarily on the size of your home or office, how much clutter that has built up and how you are at making final decisions. This is the reason that we apply hourly rates.
Are there any supplies that I need to purchase?
Absolutely not! At the start of the session, we will try to figure out what you want to do and what you decide to discard. If you start buying supplies, it will only cause more clutter.
